There is a beautiful word in Japanese. 桜吹雪 (Sakura-Fubuki), meaning Cherry Blossom Snowstorm. When the Sakura season is ending and the trees are full of pink and white flowers, a gentle breeze will release the flower petals and the float along like soft snowflakes. It's a beautiful experience, and similar to the rare soft, large snowflakes on a sunny day. We wanted to capture Sakura-Fubuki as well in our winter version of the glass.
