Who is Spring Sakura?

Many people have asked us, who is Spring Sakura? What made you want to share all of these beautiful Cherry Blossoms? Where are you from? And how do you find all of these amazing Sakura?

Fortunately for us, these are all easy questions for us to answer! 

We are a small team of Sakura lovers here in Japan. More specifically in Kyoto and Shiga. We love visiting both places for spring hanami. While Kyoto has many beautiful popular locations to view Cherry Blossoms, there's nothing quite like seeing rows on rows throughout the countryside!

We really love Cherry Blossoms! Sakura hanami is one of the most treasured times of year here in Japan. Spring is just starting, the sun is out to play, and thousands of Sakura trees are blooming with the most amazing flowers. Of course part of the reason this time is so special is because it is so short, but we wanted to make that feeling last all year long. Finally we are able to with everything here at SpringSakura.com

During Sakura hanami you can find sakura and sakura treats in almost every shop. They are everywhere! Unfortunately for those of us who love Sakura, this only lasts a short time. We searched high and low to find harvesters of natural Cherry Blossoms and we finally found our perfect Sakura! Our Cherry Blossoms are safely harvested and carefully dried to preserve the flower. While many people pickle flowers or preserve them in other ways, we wanted to keep ours as natural as possible! Carefully dried and stored, our Sakura can last until the next years hanami!
